Here are the rules for accumulating points in the Canoe Series. Racers need to do at least 5 of the designated points races to qualify..
- The Amateur points tally configuration is as follows:
- 1st place 50 points.
- 2nd place 49 points
- 3rd place 48 points
- 4th place 47 points and so on.
- In the amateur class, points will be awarded to men and women as individuals regardless of who they paddle with.
- Your final points total, is the sum of your top 5 races.
- You will receive a raffle ticket for every points race you finish for the NYMCRA Banquet raffle.
