-->A little update: Season's results
All year to date race results have been posted. -> Click here
-->CANCELLED!!! This Saturday May 5th - The Keystone Canoe Club Schuylkill River Canoe/Kayak Regatta.
This race is not on the NYMCRA Calendar, but if any New Yorkers planned to attend this race, it has been cancelled this year due to low water levels. More information and details can be found here.
-->Sadly, the low water this year is causing problems all over.
The YMCA CORTLAND CANOE CLASSIC is cancelled for 2012 due to the very low water conditions. We are sorry to cancel, but in the interest of safety for our competitors and the hulls of expensive canoes, we have no choice. For those who have already registered, please contact the Cortland YMCA to arrange for a refund.
PLEASE NOTE:We are having a FREE time trial from Young's Crossing upstream to a bouy and back on Sunday, April 29, at 10:30 AM. Dave will do the timing for everyone. This section of the river is deep and safe for any boats. It is much cheaper than driving to Boston, so please join us for the fun. For more info call Dave at (607) 849-4073 Thanks, The YMCA CCC Committee.
--> USPP course change.
Dear fellow paddlers,
Due to the low water conditions, we are now going to run the race from the Otego Fishing access and do similar to the old summer race with an added lap for the pro teams. Please pass the word as we know there are people coming from far away.8-)
Sincerely,
Jeff Shultis Race Chairman
