Our condolences to Brian Watson and his family
We all know Brian Watson. He is at every race, paddles hard, and is a good friend to all of the racing community. A day ago his father passed away and on the behalf of the racing community I want to extend our condolences and sorrow. It's tough losing a relative, and doubly so a parent.
The obituary follows.

Calling hours will be held at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown on Sunday, June 16, from 1 - 4PM. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday, June 17, at 2PM with Rev. Donald Robinson officiating and burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
Mr. Watson was born in Lowville on September 1, 1939, son of Fredric and Cecil R. Roof Goutermout Watson. He graduated from Lowville Academy, and then entered the US Army on February 1, 1961.
